We are a family owned Rainforest Alliance Certified and Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality rated producing coffee farm located in the northern Central Valley, Costa Rica. Panoramic views of San Jose and the Barva, Irazú and Poás volcanoes add to the beauty of our tranquil highlands setting. Naturally rich volcanic soil and a consistent agreeable climate create perfect coffee growing conditions, and the thriving tropical flora attracts a diverse bird population, contributing to Costa Rica’s internationally recognized biodiversity.

In addition to growing coffee, we offer a unique rental experience on the farm. We are positioned in a convenient and little-known part of Costa Rica, just 9 kilometers (5 miles) from SJO airport and 20 kilometers (12 miles) from San Jose. Santa Barbara de Heredia remains a safe and authentic look into traditional Costa Rican life, free of the rapid development of popular tourist destinations.
